Online Studies
Our research is made possible by interested parents like you participating in our studies with their children! Our online studies are set up as short games or activities for your child, and you can participate right from your own home, over a video chat! A video chat usually takes around 30 minutes and can be scheduled at a time that is most convenient for you!
Here's what you can expect
during an online study with your child!
Signing up
Once you’ve signed up, we will email you when we have a new study for your child's age group. If you would like to participate, we’ll schedule a video call using Zoom at a time that works best for you! We'll let you know what to expect during the study, and send you a link to the Zoom meeting which will automatically connect you to the researcher during your appointment. If you have more than one child who wants to participate, we can do multiple studies during the same Zoom call!
During the study
Once you’re connected to the call, the researcher will explain how the study will be run, and answer any questions that you have. Once you have provided your consent, the study will begin. Older children can complete the study on their own, while younger children may need a parent's help. Of course, parents are always welcome to stay for the whole call!
After the study
Once the study is completed, the researcher will give you some more information about what we are studying, and you will receive an Amazon gift card to thank you for your time. Your child will also receive a certificate of participation for their hard work!
